Il Cenacolo is an
independent, non-profit and completely self-financing cultural association. It hasmembers
from different countries including professionals, scientists and artists. Il
Cenacolo is open to the public and collaborates with the United Nations, UNESCO, the
Who and other international associations for the expansion and diffusion of a living
culture.The Association’s
intervention work is primarily aimed toward young people and women, with particular
emphasis on leadership training for women in social, political and scientific areas.
Il Cenacolo promotes research,
courses, activities, encounters, conferences, congresses and publications in various areas
of learning. The goal is to enrich contemporary culture, which has been circumscribed for
too long by the crisis of fundamental principles so clearly expressed by Edmund Husserl
and Kurt G�del. In this endeavour, the association gives pre-eminence to the study of
the human being, the true subject of knowledge, according to the praxis of
Iso Ontism.
Loretta Lorenzini
Founder, director and motivating force of Il Cenacolo, was born in
Terni (Italy) in 1942. She is a psychotherapist and managerial consultant.
She holds university degrees in psychology
and economics and business, and a PhD in psychology. Prof.
Lorenzini received an honorary degree in public relations from Pro Deo University in New
York. She is a member of the most important international psychological associations
(APA, ICP, WCP, IAAP, APC, AHA, AWP).
She has written and edited some
scientific texts and organized major international congresses.
