The following major cultural events head the network
of Il Cenacolo’s international contacts: conferences for the UN "Global
Teach-In" (1995-1996), with the participation of world experts. Topics included
psychology, health, genetics, law and film (A. Karpas, G. Tarro, A. Meneghetti, E.
Boncinelli, R. Granata, S. Desarno, G. Aristarco, A. Geleng, etc.); the world meeting
"Project Information, Image as Alphabet of Energy" currently being organized
under the patronage of the President of the Italian Republic. Specialistic culture days,
conferences, stages and meetings on specific topics. Activities in 1997 included: Seminar
"Identity of woman in contemporary society", Vietri Sul Mare (Salerno), March
22-23; physicians’ round table "A new approach to the patient, Trevi (Perugia),
May 5; Film and Movie Therapy, in collaboration with Faculty of Sociology of the
University of Rome and UNIC patronage, June 3-5; Preliminary Meeting on Poverty,
Carloforte (Cagliari), August 23-24.
Prospective activities include:
study activities on the female image, role
and strength;
developing intervention programs in line
with UN program, "First decade of the fight against poverty"meetings about
Movie Therapy.
